Dr. Gelila Guenzi

Founder of the firm and CEO

Dr. Gelila GuenziGelila Guenzi specializes in internationalization strategies, with a distinctive positioning built on the integration of legal, geopolitical, and business development expertise. Her academic and professional career lies at the intersection of economic law, international relations, and strategic advisory, with a particular focus on business growth dynamics in African markets. She is currently completing her law degree under the guidance of the illustrious Professor Cesare Galli, one of Italy’s leading authorities in the field of industrial property law. With him, she is exploring contractual strategies for protecting industrial secrets in the internationalization processes of companies in Sub-Saharan Africa, an area that currently represents one of the most complex and strategic frontiers of know-how governance.

This path is rooted in a degree in Political Science and International Relations, with research focused on the impact of Foreign Direct Investment on the African continent, and a Master’s in International Relations applied to the business context, which allowed her to consolidate a rigorous methodological approach capable of integrating institutional perspective, strategic analysis, and operational capacity. Her professional model stems from a profound passion for the history of peoples, economic diplomacy, geopolitical dynamics, and ius mercatorum: an interdisciplinary fusion that guided the birth of her firm, founded to translate the rigor of law and institutional relations into concrete tools for competitive development.

Specialization in African markets is a central plank of her professional identity. Born in Addis Ababa, the continent’s political capital and home to the African Union, Gelila Guenzi views Africa as a rapidly transforming geoeconomic platform, where growing demand for technology, infrastructure, agro-industrial supply chains, and governance models is reshaping the landscape of global opportunities. Her growth and education in Italy have simultaneously allowed her to deeply understand the value of Made in Italy, Italian technical and scientific expertise, and corporate culture. These elements make her a consultant capable of reading, interpreting, and anticipating the needs of Italian companies looking to emerging markets.

This dual cultural and professional background represents a strategic lever in her work, enabling her to generate mutual value and sustainable solutions for businesses, investors, and institutions. Her consulting approach is based on an integrated vision that goes beyond mere legal analysis and combines risk management, business strategy, assessment of local regulatory environments, and an understanding of the cultural and political specificities of different African countries. Her goal is to facilitate effective interaction between different economic and legal systems, transforming the complexity of the African context into structured opportunities, while ensuring high standards of protection for intangible assets and Italian expertise.

In short, Gelila Guenzi acts as a strategic bridge between Italy and Africa, supporting businesses and institutions in defining solid, protected, and competitive international growth paths. Its activity aims to build sustainable projects with high added value and capable of generating mutually beneficial results for all the stakeholders involved.
